“The ABC programme is one aspect of our intervention programme and has had a clear impact on the engagement of our disaffected students. Along with the use of other interventions we saw improvements in the motivation and higher levels of confidence and aspiration as well as improved behaviour eg. less internal truancy and better attendance at after school, holiday and weekend revision classes.”
